Welwyn Garden City Photography Club Private View

The Welwyn Garden City Photography Club will be holding their annual exhibition showcasing the talents of it’s members.  To see the work first and meet some of the artists join us for the private view on Thursday 29th November 2018 8pm – 9.30pm.

3D art will be provided by Opal Seabrook, Open Exhibition runner up Kate Windibank, Jo Teague and Marc Willgoss.  If you’re shopping for Christmas presents then just let our Treasurer, Val, know and you can pay on the night and take your 3D piece away with you or anytime before Christmas.

Open Exhibition 2018 – Private View

Join us on Thursday 18th October between 8pm and 9.30pm for the private view and official opening of our 16th annual Open Exhibition.  Prizes will also be given out for the categories of Best 2D, Best 3D and Best Photography plus additional prizes for the Mayors Prize for the best entry from a Welwyn Hatfield Artist.

Open Winners 2017

Join us on Thursday 14th September 2018 8pm – 9.30pm and be the first to see our newest exhibition.  Sarah Poppleton, Colin Mahoney and Amanda Charles were the winners of last years annual Open Exhibition.

Abstract: Private View 19th July 2018

On Thursday 19th July we had our private view and official opening of our latest exhibition, Abstract.  The exhibition is shared by three 2D artists, Judy Bywater, Anna Schofield and Paul Hillary and 3D work was supplied by textile artist, Gwendolyn Ball.  We were also joined by our current Mayor, Councillor Barbara Fitzsimon.  Below are the pictures from the nights events.

16th Annual Open Exhibition

Our annual Open Exhibition is the perfect exhibition for anyone wishing to dip their toe into the world of exhibiting.  The exhibition is an opportunity for artists living or working within Hertfordshire to share their work in a collective exhibition.  Like previous years, there will be prizes available for 2D and 3D categories and young artists, under 21, can enter up to 2 pieces of work for free.
