Our annual Open Exhibition is the perfect exhibition for anyone wishing to dip their toe into the world of exhibiting. The exhibition is an opportunity for artists living or working within Hertfordshire to share their work in a collective exhibition. Like previous years, there will be prizes available for 2D and 3D categories and young artists, under 21, can enter up to 2 pieces of work for free.
The entry form for this years Open Exhibition can now be viewed, printed and downloaded from the website here. Terms and conditions apply so please check these or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for clarification.
Showcasing the work of local artists Paul Hillary, Anna Schofield, Judy Bywater and 3D work by textile artist, Wendy Ball.
There was a great turn out to the private view on Thursday 7th June and we were really delighted at the mix of work and mediums, and how well it all looked together. Below are some of the pictures from the night.
Thank you once again to the Welwyn and Hatfield Times for the full-page article promoting our latest exhibition and sharing pictures from the private view. Thank you to our Trustee, George, too for the great pictures and writing the accompanying piece.
Join us this evening between 8pm – 9.30pm to officially open our newest exhibition, a diverse collection of artworks from a team of art teachers and technicians working in Further Education in Hertfordshire.
Their professional role involves teaching and supporting students to develop their own creative style, and experiment and master a range of creative mediums. Outside of these roles all are also accomplished artists in their own right and are sharing a mix of work including paintings, textiles, ceramics, jewellery and photography.
We were delighted to spot a write up of our latest exhibition, HVA Big Art Showcase, in the Welwyn and Hatfield Times.
