In an attempt to reduce the risk to the public from COVID-19 Campus West have made the decision to close for the foreseeable future.  This means that the gallery will need to adjust the programme of upcoming exhibitions and will not be open at this time.

Herts Visual Arts Big Art Showcase 2020

We had an incredible turn put for HVA’s annual exhibition showcasing the work of its members.  This was a special year as it marks the beginning of this years calendar of events including HVA’s 30th year of running Herts Open Studios.

Come and join us on Thursday 27th February 8pm – 9.30pm at the New Maynard Gallery for the private view and official opening of our newest exhibition, Herts Visual Arts 2020 Big Art Showcase.  The private views are an excellent opportunity to come and see the art first, meet some of the artists and the trustees of the gallery.

Open Exhibition 2019 Private View

We had an incredible turn out for our 17th annual Open Exhibition private view and a great time was had by all.  We were also joined by our Welwyn Hatfield Mayor, Roger Trigg, who presented the Mayor’s prize for residents of Welwyn Garden City and long time supporter of the gallery and sponsor of a number of prizes this year, Soo Hitchin.
